Local elected officials visit the LNG terminal

28/11/18

On 12 June, elected officials from across the greater Dunkirk region area had the opportunity to visit the LNG terminal in operation. This was an opportunity for them to learn about one of the most impressive facilities on our coast and to discuss future development projects.

Eighteen months after the commercial start of the LNG terminal, Dunkerque LNG wanted to invite local elected officials (mayors and deputies from the Dunkirk Urban Community) to visit the facilities. The objective was to show the facilities in operation and in particular the processing area. The visit took place on the morning of 12 June, led by Béatrice Prud'homme, President of Dunkerque LNG and Cécile Grégoire-David, Business Development and External Relations Director. The elected officials particularly enjoyed the visit to the control room, where they met with employees. We are very pleased to have had the chance to discuss upcoming development projects with elected officials, first and foremost the future LNG tank truck filling station.
