On the 13th of December, a safety and environment day was held at the site of the LNG terminal.
This was the second event of its kind since the terminal was commissioned. All employees and sub-contractors were invited to participate in the day's workshops. The agenda focused on road safety, awareness-building theatre, quizzes and much more. To round out the day, Dunkerque LNG and Gaz-Opale, the terminal operator, invited the regional managers and EHS directors from their primary sub-contractors to a signing ceremony for a joint safety and environment charter. This ceremony demonstrates everyone's commitment towards protecting employee health and safety and protecting the environment, which represent three priority topics for the site. Each party was able to present their commitments in this regard and symbolically sign a "safety tree".
